Job Description

Responsibilities

  • The Digital Commerce Content Coordinator plays a critical role in optimizing and coordinating digital shelf content across our retail partners.
  • This individual serves as the connective tissue between the Digital Economy Strategy team, Content Syndication team, Media team, and Brand teams — ensuring that content strategy is translated into action, assets are delivered on time, and product detail pages are continuously improved.
  • The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and passionate about e-commerce content that drives conversion.
  • Content Optimization & Opportunity Identification
  • Proactively identify opportunities to improve digital shelf content by monitoring seasonality trends, ratings & reviews insights, AI-generated feedback, and search terms.
  • Analyze product performance to identify top items in need of content optimization and prioritize efforts based on business impact.
  • Leverage content tools and partners to assess content quality, benchmark against competitors, and inform optimization recommendations.
  • Support new product launch content coordination, ensuring all assets (written copy, images, and enhanced content) are completed and live by launch deadlines.
  • Cross-Functional Coordination & Workflow Management
  • Receive content strategy direction from the Digital Economy Strategy team and translate it into clear, actionable briefs and findings for the Brand teams.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, E-Commerce, or a related field.
  • 1–3 years of experience in e-commerce content, digital marketing, or a related role.
  • Familiarity with digital shelf concepts, product detail page best practices, and content syndication workflows.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Comfort working cross-functionally across multiple teams and stakeholders.

Preferred

  • Experience content and review platforms (e.g. Bazaarvoice).
  • Exposure to AI content generation tools and an understanding of how to apply them in an e-commerce context.
  • Familiarity with content syndication platforms (e.g., Salsify).
  • Knowledge of Amazon and Walmart best practices and familiarity with scorecards and data quality reporting
  • Understanding of SEO, AEO, and GEO principles as they relate to product content and search visibility.
  • Experience in CPG, retail, or consumer brand environments.
