Job Summary

Own donor logistics and fundraising operations across events, CRM stewardship, and communications assets for a growing nonprofit partnership, with a hybrid Brooklyn schedule.

  • Fundraising & Events: Own gala auction processes, vendor relations, and donor engagement planning.
  • Donor Stewardship & CRM: Own records, communications, acknowledgments, and reporting in the CRM.
  • Communications & Design: Own content creation and asset updates for social channels, Canva materials, and event collateral.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Fundraising and Events: Coordinate the auction process for our annual gala, including vendor outreach, item procurement, tracking, and logistics
  • Fundraising and Events: Support planning and execution of fundraising events
  • Fundraising and Events: Manage communications with event vendors, sponsors, and donors
  • Fundraising and Events: Assist with donor research and prospect tracking
  • Fundraising and Events: Support fundraising campaigns and donor engagement activities
  • Donor Stewardship and CRM: Draft and send donor thank-you letters and gift acknowledgments
  • Donor Stewardship and CRM: Help manage routine donor communications and updates
  • Donor Stewardship and CRM: Maintain accurate donor records and activity tracking in our CRM
  • Donor Stewardship and CRM: Assist with donor reporting and stewardship activities
  • Communications and Design: Schedule and publish social media content across LinkedIn and Instagram

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in nonprofit, communications, development, events, administrative, or related work
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent written communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines independently
  • Comfort working in a small, entrepreneurial environment
  • Experience with Google Workspace
  • Experience using Canva to create or adapt professional-looking materials

Preferred

  • Experience with donor databases or CRMs is a plus
  • Interest in global education, international development, or nonprofit work
