Job Description

Responsibilities

Donor Database Management & Donor Communications
Enter and maintain accurate donor, volunteer, and constituent records.
Process gifts, pledges, in-kind donations, and gift card donations.
Generate acknowledgments and personalized thank-you letters for financial and in-kind contributions.
Process telephone and mailed credit card donations.
Update donor contact information and constituent records.
Track fundraising revenue and prepare reports for department leadership.
Follow up on donor inquiries and payment issues.
Social Media & Communications
Assist in implementing the agency's social media strategy.

Requirements

Education: Bachelor's Degree required.
Preferred majors include Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Social Media Marketing, Nonprofit Management, or related fields.
Experience: Minimum of two years of demonstrated experience in a professional office, nonprofit, development, communications, or community relations environment.
Experience with donor database management required.
Experience managing social media platforms and content creation preferred.
Experience working with volunteers, community groups, or special events preferred.
Technical Skills: Experience with Virtuous, DonorPerfect, Raiser's Edge, or similar fundraising platforms.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, TEAMS).
Experience with social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, and related management tools.
Experience with Constant Contact, Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, WordPress, and/or similar marketing tools preferred.
