Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Create and schedule engaging content across social media platforms, including Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and other platforms
  • Monitor social media channels and engage with our online community
  • Assist in refreshing and organizing our photo library, ensuring we have compelling, up-to-date visuals that reflect our mission and the people we serve
  • Support website maintenance and updates, including posting news, events, and program information
  • Support the development of marketing materials such as flyers, presentations, and program one-pagers
  • Support internal communications and help document organizational stories and impact
  • Attend and assist with events, capturing content for promotional use
  • Participate in and help document volunteer activities and community events
  • Supporting other Development and communications projects as needed

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in a degree program in communications, journalism, public relations, marketing, or related field
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; very strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work collaboratively and independently, both in the office and virtually
  • This role requires periodic travel to various Project Renewal sites throughout New York City
