Summary
Date Warehouse Intern: The summer internship offers hands-on experience in Microsoft Power BI and Microsoft SQL Server tools to support real-world, data-driven decisions. You'll be fully on-site at our Broadview Heights, OH, location and work alongside experienced professionals who will mentor you throughout the internship.
Essential Functions And Responsibilities
Primary functions require sufficient physical ability and mobility to work in an office setting; to stand or sit for prolonged periods; to occasionally stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, reach, and twist; to lift, carry, push, and/or pull light to moderate amounts of weight; to operate office equipment requiring repetitive hand movement and fine coordination including use of a computer keyboard, and to verbally communicate to exchange information. The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet in office settings and moderate to loud in other situations, with both constant and sudden loud noises possible.

Essential Functions And Responsibilities
- Assist in data collection, cleansing, and transformation tasks using Microsoft SQL Server tools.
- Develop interactive and insightful dashboards and reports utilizing Microsoft Power BI.
- Collaborate with team members to analyze business requirements and translate them into actionable insights.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas for improving data visualization techniques and processes.
- Support ongoing BI projects by conducting research, gathering requirements, and testing solutions.
- Assist in documenting BI processes, data models, and best practices for knowledge sharing.
- Learn and apply industry-standard methodologies and practices in business intelligence and data visualization.
- Complete special technology-related projects and tasks as assigned.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
- Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related field.
- 3.0 Minimum GPA required.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Power BI and Microsoft SQL Server tools is preferred.
- Basic understanding of database concepts and SQL querying.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
- Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies in the field of business intelligence.
- Prior experience with data visualization or business intelligence projects is a plus but not required.
- Ability to multi-task and work collaboratively as well as independently in a dynamic environment.
- Must possess strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
