Job Description
American Farm Bureau Insurance Services, Inc. (AFBIS, Inc.), provider of support and crop insurance services to Farm Bureau insurance companies, is looking for a Crop Insurance Training and Marketing Manager. This is a hybrid role working out of the Fargo office at least two days a week and one additional day within a two-week period. We will also consider experienced remote talent for this position. There will be up to 30% travel.
We are seeking a strategic and hands-on Crop insurance Training and Marketing Manager to help drive sales growth, product adoption, and operational excellence. In this highly visible role, you will assess organizational needs, designing and leading innovative training programs and marketing initiatives for our comprehensive suite of crop insurance products and services.
Key Responsibilities:
Training & Development
- Develop and deliver expert product training (in-person/virtual/on-demand) to field teams, agencies, and internal partners to support business growth.
- Develop comprehensive training materials, including guides, videos, and e-learning modules.
- Partner with Business Development to align training with strategic goals and evaluate effectiveness via performance metrics.
- Represent the company at industry events and build strong agency relationships.
Marketing
- Support sales and brand growth, customer retention and profitability through strategic marketing, campaign execution, and market research.
- Develop and own the end-to-end social media strategy, content planning, and scheduling.
- Develop brand presence via events, trade shows, and merchandising.
- Manage marketing budgets, vendor relationships, and promotional collateral.
What you will bring to this position:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- 8+ years of crop insurance experience with an emphasis in crop insurance training
- 3+ years of experience translating business needs into learning and marketing solutions that drive performance, capability and business and results
- Demonstrated success designing and owning learning programs, social media strategies, along with developing and executing successful growth-focused marketing plans
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Products
- Strong analytical, critical thinking, decision making, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent organizational and time management skills; ability to multi-task and handle multiple priorities often under tight deadlines
- Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
The expected starting salary range for this position is between $90,000 and $120,000. Applicable salary ranges may differ across markets. Actual pay will be determined based on experience and other job-related factors permitted by law.
