Job Description

Responsibilities

  • You’ll be one of the editors shaping the long-form work that runs the Grow Acquisition brand.
  • Storytelling-first, retention-obsessed, gold-standard finish.
  • Working closely with the founder and creative director, owning your edits end-to-end.

Requirements

  • Real fluency in Adobe Premiere and DaVinci Resolve
  • Color grading — including matching footage from different cameras so it all looks the same
  • Sound design fundamentals
  • Storytelling instinct — you understand why a piece of footage works, not just that it does
  • You know how to choose the right moment in a clip (this is the #1 thing most editors get wrong)
  • Emotional awareness, advanced level — you feel when a beat lands and when it doesn\'t
  • A reel that proves you can hold attention for 10+ minutes, not just 30-second cuts
  • Problem-solver — you flag issues in footage, audio, or structure and fix them without being asked
  • Self-direction — you ship on time without being chased, and you track your own work accurately
  • Active and communicative in our team chats — not someone who disappears for 3 days
  • Long-term mindset — we’re not hiring for the next 6 months, we’re hiring for the next 5 years
