About Us
At Kingfisher Ads, we help golf businesses grow without relying on external funding. From top golf retailers to global golf communities, we’ve earned a reputation for performance, transparency, and long-term partnerships.
We're a small, experienced team - and we’re growing. We're hiring a Creative Strategist who not only understands what makes paid social creative perform, but who also lives and breathes the game of golf.
This isn't your typical agency gig. We work exclusively in golf, which means the person in this role will develop a genuine depth of category knowledge that compounds over time. If you want to build something long-term with a tight-knit team that takes both craft and performance seriously, we'd love to hear from you.
What You’ll Do
Mission
Act as the essential connective tissue between media buying and creative production, while communicating with clients as required. Your goal is to eliminate guesswork by architecting creative diversity — developing various messaging frameworks that resonate across different customer motivations so the algorithm always has fresh, high-performing assets to find and convert new customers.
KPIs
- Testing Win Rate: The percentage of new creative concepts that successfully graduate from testing into scaling status.
- Scaling Velocity: The volume of high-performing winner ads produced per month that can sustain significant spend across different messaging angles.
- Creative Efficiency: Demonstrable improvement in the client's cost-per-acquisition (CPA) and overall Marketing Efficiency Ratio (MER) through better creative-audience pairing.
- Format Versatility: Achieving performance parity across formats, ensuring a healthy mix of high-performing static and video assets.
- Hook Rate & Thumb Stop Rate: Creative concepts are grabbing attention in-feed.
- Creative Output & Iteration Velocity: A steady pipeline of new concepts is being tested each week.
- CTR & CVR: Briefs are translating into ads that drive clicks and conversions.
Outcomes
- Winning Creative Pipeline: A consistent flow of new concepts is being briefed, produced, and tested across client accounts.
- Documented Creative Learnings: What's working and what isn't is clearly recorded and informing the next round of briefs.
- Strong Creative Briefs: Briefs are detailed enough that a graphic designer, video editor, or UGC creator can execute without back-and-forth.
Responsibilities
- Develop diverse messaging angles for each client, ensuring each brand speaks to different psychological triggers (e.g. utility, status, technical proof) to prevent creative fatigue and expand audience reach.
- Lead the end-to-end lifecycle of ad production — managing the transition from a strategic hypothesis to a finished asset across multiple accounts simultaneously.
- Write detailed creative briefs for graphic designers, video editors and UGC creators, including scripts, shot lists, and visual hooks.
- Partner with our media buyers to decode campaign metrics — going beyond standard KPIs to identify why specific narratives are winning and how to iterate on them.
- Mine platforms like Reddit, Amazon, and TikTok to uncover hidden pain points and competitive gaps that fuel high-converting concepts for both static and video formats.
- Build and maintain a creative testing roadmap for each account.
- Analyse performance data (Meta Ads Manager and Motion) to identify patterns, flag fatigue, and decide what to test next.
- Stay current with platform changes, ad trends, and what's working across the broader paid social landscape.
- Use AI tools and any other tools at your disposal for research, planning, and to produce assets that are both on-brand and engineered for performance.
- Use your golf knowledge to bring genuine category insight to every brief — audiences, offers, seasonality, and culture.
What we're looking for:
- Creative Instinct: You watch ads with a critical eye. You know when something works and, more importantly, why.
- Performance Mindset: Your ideas start with the audience and the outcome, not with aesthetics. You thrive on connecting the dots between data insights and visual storytelling.
- Consumer Psychology: You're obsessed with what motivates people to buy — and you can visualise a winning ad before it's even designed.
- Ownership Mentality: You treat client results like they're your own. You don't wait to be told what to test next.
- Disciplined Communicator: Briefs are clear, learnings are documented, and updates don't need to be chased.
- Structure & Precision: You follow processes, name files correctly, and don't cut corners on the details.
- Curious & Current: You're actively paying attention to what's working in paid social — and you're not shy about sharing ideas.
- Creative Diversity as a System: You view diverse messaging angles not as a creative exercise, but as a systematic engine for scalable growth.
You’re a Great Fit If You…
- Have 2+ years of experience in performance creative strategy, ideally for DTC or ecommerce brands.
- Have a strong working knowledge of Meta Ads and understand what makes paid social creative convert.
- Are comfortable using creative analytics tools to analyse and report on creative performance.
- Can write clear creative briefs that a creator can execute without a follow-up call.
- Have a genuine interest in golf — you understand the culture, the audience, and what moves them.
- Are comfortable working independently while staying tightly aligned with a small, collaborative team.
- Are comfortable working with AI tools and stay current with how creative production and advertising are evolving.
- Have excellent communication skills — written and verbal.
Why Join Kingfisher Ads?

- Zero micromanagement — just clear goals and the tools to reach them.
- Direct access to founders and real input into how the agency grows.
- Flexible location and schedule — we care about your results, not where you sit.
