Job Summary:

The Creative Production Contractor role offers an opportunity to learn the art of print, packaging and display production within the beauty industry. The ideal candidate possesses stellar Adobe Illustrator skills that can be parlayed into hands-on building, editing and fine-tuning of packaging designs and production elements.

Responsibilities:

• Develop accurate, production-ready mechanicals with an outside mechanical house, aligned with print specifications and brand standards.
• Learn to work a program through the entirety of the eos internal creative and production process, developing a thorough knowledge base of the eos Brand.
• Prepare digital comps for presentations.
• Adhere to filing conventions and server organization.
• Support Digital Asset Management (DAM) through uploads, naming conventions, and metadata tagging for easy search and access.
• Support communication regarding production specs, delivery timelines and approvals.
• Assist in Color Development administrative tasks from pre-production through the life cycle of a program.
• Facilitate quality control reviews, feedback and approvals of color development.
• Help to maintain a digital and physical database of bottles, tubes, cartons and other components.
• Track and label Creative Team deliveries in and out of the building, coordinating closely with the Color Production Manager.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Print Production, or a related field.
• 2–4 years of experience in print production or prepress.
• A solid eye for design.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite.
• Willing to learn and grow internal management systems (e.g. Webcenter, Smartsheet,
• Brandfolder).
• Strong background in print production and project management.
• Detail-oriented, with strong time management skills.
• Excellent communication skills and a proactive, collaborative, solution-oriented mindset.
• A problem-solving, critical-thinking, team player and self-starter.
• The ability to roll with and pivot in a fast-paced environment, adapting quickly to shifting priorities and timelines.
• Availability to work in the NYC office every Tuesday and Wednesday.
• Experience in the beauty, personal care, or CPG industry preferred.
