Job Overview:

We’re looking for a motion designer with a generalist mindset and a genuine hunger to grow. You have a solid foundation in motion design, and a basic understanding of editing, graphic design, and beyond. You don't need to be an expert in everything, you just need to be the kind of person who wants to be.

You'll work across a portfolio of high-profile clients, collaborate with a tight-knit creative team, and have real ownership over your projects. There's also an opportunity to get on set and experience the full production pipeline firsthand. This is a role where your curiosity is just as valuable as your current skillset.

Key Responsibilities:

• Motion & Animation: Design and animate motion graphics across a range of formats - social, branded content, and more
• Post Production: Edit video content with an understanding of pacing, story, and flow
• Graphic Design: A genuine interest in expanding into graphic design and beyond - you don't need to be great at it yet, but you want to be
• Collaborate: Work with graphic designers, producers, strategists, and creatives throughout the creative process
• Production: Participate in on-set productions and gain hands-on experience across the full pipeline
• Creative Ownership: Take ownership of projects from brief through final delivery
• Project Management: Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Growth Mindset: You're proactive about learning and not afraid to ask questions

Requirements:

• 3-5+ years of experience in an agency, studio, or in-house environment
• Solid editing skills with a good eye for pacing and storytelling
• Strong portfolio demonstrating:
• Motion design
• Visual Storytelling
• Multi-format execution
• Expert in:
• Adobe Creative Suite (After Effects, Premiere, Illustrator, Photoshop)
• Strong understanding of:
• Layout, typography, and hierarchy
• Narrative flow and storytelling through design
• Ability to:
• Work quickly without sacrificing quality
• Operate independently and take ownership of projects
• Work within brand systems for large clients
• Collaborate cross-functionally

Desired Qualifications:

• Passion for social media marketing
• Understanding of the marketing ecosystem
• Previous agency or brand-side experience
• Experience working with enterprise level brands
• Knowledge of marketing campaign Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
• Follows, understands or even sets trends on social platforms
• Familiarity with Cinema 4d or other 3D Programs
• On-set production experience

Travel required up to 25% of the time
