Job Summary

Identify and convert group event opportunities with Dayton area organizations while owning the full outreach to build a pipeline for private parties and corporate events.

  • Qualifications: Growth-focused outreach across businesses, schools, nonprofits, and community groups.
  • Pipeline: Track contacts, leads, follow-ups, and bookings while promoting Now and Zen events.
  • Engagement: Represent the studio professionally at events and networking opportunities, feeding opportunities back to ownership.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Identify potential group event clients across businesses, schools, churches, apartment communities, senior communities, social clubs, HR departments, nonprofits, and community organizations.
  • Introduce Now and Zen’s event options to prospective clients.
  • Share promotional materials, pricing information, and event details.
  • Help generate leads for private parties, corporate team-building events, off-site workshops, and group visits.
  • Represent Now and Zen in a positive, professional, and enthusiastic way.
  • Track contacts, leads, follow-ups, and potential bookings.
  • Attend occasional community events, networking opportunities, or local vendor events when appropriate.
  • Communicate regularly with Now and Zen ownership regarding leads and booking opportunities.
  • Help promote special events such as First Friday, Sip & Create, Saturday workshops, and group experiences.

Requirements

  • Outgoing, organized, professional
  • Comfortable reaching out to businesses and organizations by email, phone, social media, and in person
  • Organized and able to follow up consistently
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently
  • Familiar with Dayton-area businesses, organizations, schools, or community groups

Preferred

  • Prior experience in sales, event planning, marketing, outreach, customer service, networking, or business development. Experience is helpful but not required.
