Job Summary

Own the end-to-end design and execution of CAN Community Health’s marketing creative, web visuals, and digital experiences across print, web, social, and campaigns, with heavy emphasis on brand integrity, usability, and cross-functional delivery.

  • Creative and Brand Ownership: deliver cross-channel marketing materials, templates, and assets that stay on-brand and scalable for multiple locations.
  • Web and UI/UX Execution: support website updates, basic HTML/CSS tweaks, WordPress content, and conversion-focused page layouts with accessible, mobile-friendly design.
  • Motion, Print, and Production: craft lightweight motion graphics, prepare print-ready assets, and coordinate with vendors while maintaining quality and consistency.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Creative Design and Brand Support Design branded marketing materials for print, digital, web, social media, email, events, campaigns, internal communications, and presentations. Create flyers, mailers, brochures, one-pagers, event collateral, signage, swag assets, social media graphics, email graphics, digital ads, website banners, infographics, and campaign materials. Ensure all creative materials follow CAN Community Health’s visual identity, messaging standards, and overall brand direction. Create and maintain branded templates for recurring marketing needs to support consistency across departments, locations, and campaigns. Prepare creative assets for multiple formats, including print, web, social media, email, digital screens, presentations, and vendor production. Maintain a strong standard of quality, accuracy, and consistency across all assigned design work.
  • Website Design and HTML Support Assist with website updates, including page layouts, image placement, banners, buttons, content blocks, landing pages, forms, and other web-based marketing materials. Use basic HTML and CSS to make minor website updates, adjust formatting, support page layouts, and troubleshoot basic display issues. Work within WordPress or similar content management systems to update website content and support ongoing website improvements. Support the development of web pages and landing pages that are clear, visually consistent, mobile responsive, and easy to navigate. Optimize web visuals and content presentation for readability, accessibility, mobile responsiveness, and user experience.
  • UI/UX and Digital Experience Apply basic UI/UX principles to improve the usability, clarity, and visual flow of web pages, landing pages, forms, and digital campaign assets. Support the design of calls to action, page layouts, banners, content sections, and user-facing digital materials with the end user in mind. Make recommendations to improve visual hierarchy, readability, mobile layout, accessibility, and conversion-focused design. Ensure digital materials are easy to understand and support clear next steps for patients, community members, partners, and other audiences.
  • Motion Graphics and Simple Animation Create simple animated assets for social media, digital flyers, website banners, email graphics, digital screens, presentations, and campaign materials. Adapt static creative into simple motion-based assets when appropriate for digital use. Develop lightweight motion graphics that enhance engagement while maintaining brand consistency and platform requirements. Use tools such as Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro, Canva, Adobe Express, Figma, or similar platforms to create motion graphics and animated visuals.
  • Print, Vendor, and Production Support Prepare print-ready files and production assets for flyers, mailers, brochures, signage, promotional items, event materials, and swag. Coordinate with vendors when needed to confirm file specifications, dimensions, formats, deadlines, and production requirements. Review proofs and final files for accuracy, brand consistency, readability, and quality before production. Maintain organized final files, source files, templates, and approved creative assets for future use. Help ensure physical marketing materials align with digital campaign assets and overall brand standards.
  • Project Management and Creative Request Coordination Manage assigned creative projects from request through completion, including gathering project details, confirming requirements, identifying stakeholders, tracking feedback, and meeting deadlines. Communicate with internal departments to clarify project goals, timelines, audiences, content needs, approval requirements, and final deliverables. Coordinate with team members, vendors, freelancers, or external partners when needed to complete larger or more complex projects. Maintain organization of active projects, creative files, approvals, and final deliverables. Proactively follow up with stakeholders to keep projects moving and reduce delays.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration and Communication Work closely with the marketing team, outreach teams, clinical teams, operations teams, and other departments to support campaign and communication needs. Communicate professionally and clearly with internal stakeholders in a corporate environment. Ask thoughtful questions, document feedback, manage expectations, and provide timely updates on assigned work. Translate project requests into clear creative direction and practical deliverables. Support a collaborative team environment while maintaining accountability for assigned projects.
  • Multimedia and Content Support Support basic video, photography, and multimedia needs when required, including simple editing, event coverage, image selection, cropping, resizing, and file preparation. Maintain and organize a library of approved creative assets, photos, graphics, templates, and multimedia files. Prepare visual assets for use across web, social media, digital advertising, email, presentations, print, and internal communications. Ensure multimedia content is properly formatted and optimized for the intended platform.
  • Tools, Trends, and Best Practices Stay current on design, digital marketing, web, UI/UX, print production, and motion graphics trends. Recommend new creative approaches, tools, templates, or processes that improve efficiency and quality. Support ongoing improvements to CAN Community Health’s brand consistency, digital presence, and creative workflow. Maintain awareness of accessibility, mobile-first design, print production standards, and digital content best practices.

Requirements

  • Education/Professional
  • 6 or more years of experience in creative design, graphic design, digital design, web design support, marketing creative, or a related creative role.
  • Experience creating marketing materials across both print and digital channels, including flyers, mailers, brochures, event collateral, social media graphics, website graphics, email graphics, digital ads, presentation materials, signage, or swag assets.
  • Experience making basic website updates using WordPress or a similar content management system.
  • Experience using HTML and CSS to support basic web formatting, content updates, and page layout adjustments.
  • Experience applying basic UI/UX principles to web pages, landing pages, forms, calls to action, and digital campaign materials.
  • Experience managing creative or marketing projects, including gathering information, coordinating feedback, tracking deadlines, and delivering final assets.
  • Experience creating simple motion graphics or animated digital assets fr social media, web, digital screens, or campaign use.
  • Experience working in a corporate, healthcare, nonprofit, or multi-location organization is preferred.
  • Technical Skills
  • Strong proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, Figma, or comparable platforms.
  • Working knowledge of HTML and CSS.
  • Experience with WordPress or similar website content management systems.
  • Familiarity with basic UI/UX principles, including mobile responsiveness, visual hierarchy, accessibility, and call-to-action placement.
  • Experience creating simple animations or motion graphics using tools such as Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro, Canva, Adobe Express, Figma, or similar platforms.
  • Ability to prepare assets for multiple formats, including web, social media, email, digital ads, digital screens, print, and presentations.
  • Familiarity with project management tools and organized creative workflows.
  • Basic video editing, photography, or multimedia production skills are a plus.
