Job Summary

Own the daily creative execution and leadership of pharma brand storytelling across HCP and patient content, collaborating with cross-functional teams, supervising junior staff, and advancing new business while integrating data trends and AI tools.

  • Research new data and industry trends to fuel ideas for the brand

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the daily creative execution of projects across brands/portfolio including writing, adapting from core materials, reviewing projects, incorporating comments, referencing and annotating
  • Resident expert about the brand, disease state, clinical trials and data, and competitive products
  • Show relentless devotion to writing craft, and creative excellence on projects big and small
  • Be an expert storyteller, creating engaging narratives for both short and long-form communications
  • Deep expertise in HCP-directed copy for high-science pharma brands, as well as engaging patient/consumer content
  • Display expert knowledge about the brand, disease state, clinical trials and data, and competitive products
  • Present creative work and ideas with art partner to clients
  • Attend MLR meetings, noting direction and application of changes to other pieces
  • Attend appropriate client meetings, market research, workshops and begin to engage in dialogue with supervisor, team, and client about key insights
  • Support new business efforts in addition to managing day to day brand needs

Requirements

  • 5+ years of pharmaceutical copy supervisory experience within a fast-paced agency setting
  • Pharmaceutical and/or healthcare copywriting experience is a must
  • A compelling portfolio included with your application
  • Previous leadership experience
  • Solid presentations skills
  • Proven ability to engage in creative conversations internally and with clients
  • Motivated to seek/gain additional creative opportunities and/or work on new business pitches
  • Proactive about expanding knowledge of trends so you can share new ideas with your team
  • Autonomous, yet you know when and how to raise questions or issues to your manager
  • Interest and experience integrating AI tools in to workflows.
