Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Develop campaign messaging, concepts, and communication frameworks that support organizational priorities and audience engagement goals.
  • Partner with strategists, marketers, and stakeholders to shape campaign messages that resonate with specific audience segments.
  • Write, edit, and proof high-volume email communications supporting campaigns, events, programs, and organizational initiatives.
  • Create compelling email copy designed to increase engagement, registrations, participation, and other conversion-focused outcomes.
  • Develop messaging that can be adapted for audience segments, ensuring relevant and personalized experiences.
  • Apply knowledge of personalization strategies to create content that aligns with audience interests, behaviors, and needs.
  • Write and edit promotional communications supporting Scientific Sessions, Healthy Living, Lifelong Learning, and other programs for healthcare professionals, researchers, and consumer audiences.
  • Produce recurring consumer newsletter content that is engaging, clear, and aligned with brand standards.
  • Develop promotional and recap newsletters for scientific council audiences, highlighting key events, achievements, and upcoming opportunities.
  • Create clear calls-to-action and messaging that encourage audience engagement and response.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent. Typically requires less than two (2) years of related work experience.
  • Proven experience developing campaign messaging and audience-focused communication strategies.
  • Success in creating email content that supports engagement, conversion, and audience participation goals.
  • Understanding of audience segmentation and personalization principles.
  • Ability to translate complex information into clear, concise, and compelling communications.
  • Experience writing for both consumer and professional audiences.
  • Strong editing, proofreading, and quality-control skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple communication projects and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Experience collaborating with marketers, strategists, and subject matter experts.
