Summary:
The HR Administrator provides essential support to the Human Resources team by managing day-to-day administrative tasks and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle confidential information with discretion. The HR Administrator will assist with employee requests, maintain accurate records, and support HR projects and initiatives that enhance the employee experience.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Process unemployment claims and workers’ compensation requests in a timely and accurate manner
- Provide administrative support to the HR team, including answering phone calls and managing correspondence
- Prepare and distribute final pay letters and assist with termination-related administrative tasks
- Partner with HR team members to implement full functionality of Dayforce HCMS
- Generate routine HR reports and assist with data analysis as needed
- Support the company’s benefits administration in partnership with the HR Benefits Specialist by providing back up and administrative assistance as needed
- Manage requests for information, including gathering records for regulatory audits and other time sensitive requirements
- Maintain HR calendar of key dates, deadlines, and activities; assist team in planning and managing to deadlines
- Complete verifications of employment
- Maintain and update employee files; upload documents into the HRIS system (Dayforce)
- Administer tuition reimbursement and wellness reimbursement programs
- Help coordinate HR-related and company events and activities
- Ensure timely completion of annual reporting such as EEO, Vets, OSHA, etc.
- Maintain relationships with HR vendors such as GovDocs to meet compliance and posting requirements throughout all facilities
- Coordinate the Bound Tree Legacy Scholarship program, working with Marketing to ensure promotion, directly collecting applications, selecting scholarship recipients, ensuring receipt of proper documentation, and awarding funds
- Send new hire welcome kits, sympathy flowers, congratulatory baby gifts, etc.
- Assist with special projects and general administrative tasks as assigned
- Ensure compliance with company policies and confidentiality standards
- Maintain appropriate records retention in accordance with policies and legal requirements
- Facilitate HR Ticketing System in Dayforce and respond to questions and requests with a sense of urgency, escalating issues when appropriate

Skills/Experience Required:
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree preferred; High School Diploma or equivalent required
- 2-4 years of HR administrative experience
- Familiarity with HRIS systems (Dayforce) preferred
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Excellent communication skills and ability to maintain confidentiality
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in data entry and reporting
- Exceptional team orientation and customer service execution
