Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Coordinates and manages content for designated communication channels and publications, ensuring timely updates and consistent messaging
  • Serves as the production coordinator for assigned publications, managing workflows between content owners, designers, developers, and LSCS administration
  • Works with outside vendors to obtain print and mail quotes, manage production timelines, and oversee quality and distribution of publications
  • Maintains compliance with US Postal Service regulations and manages LSCS mailing permits and privileges
  • Collects, compiles, and maintains production databases including project costs, bid reports, timelines, design specifications, distribution lists, and final files
  • Provides creative input on the design, layout, and presentation of communication materials in collaboration with graphic designers and digital teams
  • Designs and develops publications utilizing Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Collaborates with internal partners to gather, review, and prepare content for publication
  • Manages multiple publication deadlines simultaneously, using independent judgment to prioritize work effectively
  • Responsible for other reasonable, related duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree and at least 1 year of experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience

Preferred

  • Experience in marketing or journalism
  • Experience with digital photography
  • Experience with Adobe Photoshop
  • Experience with Adobe software programs
  • Experience in public relations, marketing, or communications
