Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Drive high-impact community strategy in DFW
  • Own and grow company-wide signature programs (e.g., Beat the Heat, Safety Around Water, Back to School, Holidays) within the DFW market — reviewing performance, strengthening execution, and scaling what works for this market.
  • Identify and launch new, high-impact community activations that generate measurable brand and business value, not just goodwill.
  • Align charitable giving and sponsorships with business development priorities, helping turn community investment into client relationships and wins.
  • Cultivate strategic relationships with key DFW nonprofits and community organizations, building a network of partners that strengthens the company's local presence and creates a pipeline for future collaboration and business development opportunities.
  • Build direct relationships with Plant Managers and designated Plant Employees to understand hyper-local needs and shape relevant, focused partnerships.
  • Deepen understanding of issues affecting plant communities and provide timely support, becoming a trusted resource that plants proactively turn to.
  • Coordinate with Government Affairs to support relationship building with local elected leaders via community investment, and extend the reach of community engagement efforts.
  • Stand up and lead a North Texas Employee Engagement Committee, with visible leadership support.
  • Design recognition moments that celebrate employees who go above and beyond in volunteering, building momentum for future participation.

Requirements

  • 4–7 years of experience in corporate philanthropy, community relations, corporate social responsibility, or a closely related field.
  • A relationship-builder who's equally comfortable in a plant conference room, a nonprofit partner meeting, and a leadership readout.
  • Comfortable translating community investment into business language, you can explain the "why it matters to the business," not just "why it matters to the community."
  • Strong project and event management skills; you close the loop with a post-event review, not just a thank-you email.
  • Working knowledge of (or strong appetite to learn) KPI-based program evaluation.
  • Experience or comfort working alongside Sales, Social Media/PR/Marketing, and Government Affairs teams.
  • Based in or willing to be based in the DFW area, with flexibility to travel regularly to plant sites in the region.
