Job Description
Responsibilities
- Write, edit, and post marketing documents for our business listings
- Interview individuals selling a business to gather necessary information
- Research businesses online to gather additional information essential for marketing
- Modify existing listings with a keen eye for detail
- Carry formatting and written content consistently across platforms
- Compose email correspondence in a professional manner
- Assist clients as needed including answering the telephone, conducting experience calls, or other duties as assigned
- Learn the basics of the business brokerage field to foster a working knowledge of our work and our role in assisting individuals buying or purchasing a business
- Craft press releases, social media posts, website content, and blog posts
Requirements
- Strong knowledge and understanding of the English language including grammar, punctuation, and spelling
- Ability to write, edit, proofread, and publish written marketing content
- Decisive writer who can prioritize, manage, and complete multiple tasks
- Highly detail-oriented and well-organized individual who can apply listing modifications in diverse formats including website publications, written documents, online portal postings, as well as email correspondence
- Promote and maintain all principles of confidentiality
- Proficient in both Microsoft Word and Excel
- Minimum typing speed of 70 words per minute
- Ability to take in new information, process those facts, and generate content within a swift timeline
- Flexible and adaptive attitude that enables an individual to remain productive in a fast-paced work environment
- Maintain a highly-organized and driven work ethic
