Job Description
Triangle-based candidates only
Burt’s is hiring a Content Strategist / Crew Chief to take full ownership of client content: strategy, execution, and performance.
This role is for someone who wants responsibility.
You will be accountable for:
- The quality of the content
- The performance of the content
- The output of the team producing it
If you’re looking for a role where you just execute tasks or “manage social,” this is not it.
If you want to lead, make decisions, and be responsible for outcomes—keep reading.
The Reality of This RoleYou will:
- Run point on client accounts
- Lead a team (social strategists, editors, producers)
- Review content daily (video, hooks, copy, pacing, structure)
- Make decisions quickly with incomplete information
- Communicate directly with clients—clearly and confidently
- Be expected to improve performance, not just explain it
There’s no hiding behind “creative preference” or “the algorithm.”
Your job is to figure out what works and make it repeatable.
What You Own- End-to-end content strategy across multiple accounts

- Content direction across video, copy, and structure
- Performance improvement (views, engagement, conversion where applicable)
- Translating business goals into content systems

- You connect content to actual business outcomes
- You’re decisive, proactive, and accountable
- You communicate clearly—especially with clients
- Not a junior role
- Not a content scheduler

- Not a pure creative role without accountability
You’ll have the opportunity to:
- Own real client outcomes (not just tasks)
- Build and lead systems, not just contribute to them
- Step into a leadership role quickly
- Work with a team that values speed, quality, and accountability
- Experience in agency environments
