About eoFlix:

eoFlix is a global screening and distribution platform that enables independent films to extend their life, reach, and value over time. Filmmakers can build audience, distribution, and revenue on eoFlix and across film festivals, YouTube channels, and distribution partners worldwide.

Our mission is to build the infrastructure that allows independent films to be discovered, watched, and monetized globally. 

Position Overview

eoFlix is seeking motivated and detail-oriented interns to support our Content Operations and Partnerships team. This role is ideal for students interested in film, streaming platforms, digital distribution, and the business side of the entertainment industry.

Interns will help review and curate films, support licensing and filmmaker outreach, assist with quality assurance for distribution partners, and support festival engagement initiatives.

This is a remote role offering hands-on exposure to the independent film ecosystem and the operational side of streaming and content distribution.

Key Responsibilities

Content Review, Curation & Distribution Support

  • Watch and review films available on the eoFlix platform.
  • Identify high-quality and “watchable” titles suitable for distribution partners.
  • Assist in assembling curated lists of films for eoFlix distribution partners to evaluate for licensing opportunities.
  • Help organize film metadata, genres, and categories to support programming and partner needs.

Licensing & Filmmaker Outreach

  • Communicate with filmmakers and content owners to help complete eoFlix licensing agreements.
  • Follow up with creators regarding required documentation and onboarding materials.
  • Track licensing progress and assist with maintaining organized records of agreements.

Content Operations & QA

  • Assist in the quality assurance process for films entering the eoFlix distribution ecosystem.
  • Verify film metadata, artwork, captions, and other required assets.
  • Support the preparation of films for monetization across distribution channels including streaming platforms, YouTube, and other digital outlets.

Festival & Community Engagement

  • Support engagement with film festivals using the eoFlix platform.
  • Assist with outreach and communication related to festival partnerships.
  • Help support social and community engagement initiatives involving filmmakers and festivals.

General Operational Support

  • Assist with research and operational tasks related to content distribution.
  • Support internal content tracking and reporting.
  • Assist with other ad hoc operational tasks as needed.

Qualifications

  • Current college student or recent graduate (Film, Media Studies, Communications, Business, or related fields preferred)
  • Passion for film, streaming platforms, and digital media
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Comfortable communicating professionally via email
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently in a remote environment
  • Familiarity with YouTube, FaceBook, Ticktok, or digital media platforms is a plus.
