Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Own content strategy and execution across Dotcom-Monitor product domains and related web properties
  • Write, edit, and maintain technical product content, including:Product and feature pages
  • Technical explanations related to monitoring and performance testing
  • Comparison pages, guides, and other inbound lead-generating documentation
  • Ensure content is technically accurate, clearly structured, and aligned with how the product actually works
  • Collaborate closely with Product Management and Engineering to understand features, releases, and technical behavior
  • Translate technical concepts into content that supports product evaluation, onboarding, and sales conversations
  • Maintain and update cornerstone and evergreen content to ensure accuracy, relevance, SEO health, and conversion performance
  • Partner with SEO stakeholders to improve discoverability while keeping buyer intent, clarity, and credibility front and center
  • Lead and manage external writers and contractors, providing clear direction and maintaining quality and consistency

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in technical content, technical marketing, or technical writing, ideally in a SaaS environment
  • Prior experience working with technical products and engineering or product teams
  • Ability to understand and edit content produced by engineers or subject-matter experts
  • Familiarity with web technologies and infrastructure concepts such as:DNS
  • HTTP/S
  • Cloud platforms
  • Uptime monitoring or performance testing
  • Demonstrated experience owning content across multiple products or domains
  • Experience writing content that supports conversion and evaluation, not just awareness
  • Solid SEO fundamentals (keyword research, on-page optimization, long-form strategy)

Nice To Have

  • Background as a technical writer or in product documentation
  • Experience with APIs, developer documentation, or pre-sales technical content
  • Experience in monitoring, observability, QA, or infrastructure-related SaaS
  • Experience supporting sales enablement or go-to-market content
