Job Summary

Own the school’s narrative engine across print, digital, and social, turning priorities into audience‑focused stories for donors, families, students, and alumni.

  • Content production: Public-facing publications, social, and online channels aligned to communications goals
  • Campaign storytelling: Appeals, giving days, and end-of-year campaigns with multi-channel promotion
  • Community storytelling: Collaborate with students and departments to surface authentic, campus life content and yearbook involvement

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Lead production of major print and digital publications, including The Dubliner, Report of Giving, The Quad, The Compass, and the Monthly Alumni Newsletter
  • Write monthly feature stories aligned with Communications priorities (SEO, prospective families, and institutional storytelling)
  • Produce weekly "For the Fridge" content
  • Lead writing for Fall and Spring appeals (print and digital)
  • Support messaging for Day of Giving, Giving Tuesday, and end-of-year campaigns
  • Draft and distribute monthly press releases to regional publications
  • Help own and manage the School's social media presence in collaboration with the Communications team
  • Help publish content: 3x/week on Instagram and Facebook, Weekly Stories highlighting campus life and events, 1x/week on LinkedIn (thought leadership, alumni, and event promotion)
  • Help develop a consistent voice and storytelling approach across platforms
  • Partner with students and colleagues to generate authentic, community-centered content
