Job Description
Responsibilities
- Develop original video concepts built around toys, plushies, and characters.
- Create simple stories and visual jokes that hold viewers’ attention.
- Stage scenes, arrange props, and move toys and plushies to bring characters to life.
- Film content with thoughtful framing, lighting, backgrounds, and camera movement.
- Edit footage using pacing, sound effects, music, and captions to strengthen the story.
- Adapt social trends into playful, family-friendly videos
- Collaborate with the creative team, respond to feedback, and keep projects organized.
Requirements
- Prior experience with making content for YouTube is a requirement.
- Experience creating content for TikTok, YouTube Shorts, or similar platforms.
- Practical filming and video-editing skills.
- A strong sense of humor, visual storytelling, and timing.
- Resourcefulness with props, sets, and everyday materials.
- The ability to work independently and follow through from idea to finished video.
- Patience and attention to detail when staging scenes and capturing the right shot.
Preferred
- Experience with toy videos, puppetry, stop-motion, miniature sets, or product photography is a plus, but not required!
- We’re especially interested in people who can make an ordinary object feel like a character.
