Job Description

Responsibilities

Daily functions include supporting the practice rooms, classes, ensembles, concerts, and recitals throughout each semester.
Conceptualize and produce compelling content for SOM social media accounts, fostering active engagement with our audience.
Contribute to ongoing video-driven needs on social, to develop/edit/produce video and concepts.
Ensure that all content aligns with SOM and University guidelines to maintain brand consistency.
Adhere to the established social media content calendar for timely post publication.
Collaborate closely with other creative and university teams for social media assignments.
Analyze social media metrics to assess performance and identify areas for improvement.
Conduct research on competitor content and promotional strategies to glean insights into industry best practices.
Contribute to special projects and events that enhance SOM’s marketing initiatives.
Provides excellent customer service to the professors and students of the School of Music.

Requirements

Current Liberty University student in good standing with the University
Able to work between 15-20 hours a week
Possess a creative mindset, intellectual curiosity, and a desire to learn
Able to give and receive creative feedback
Understanding of social media platforms
High school diploma

Preferred

1-2 years work experience in any field preferred
