Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Content Creation Management: Create content for Deep Brand’s portfolio of brands, Deep Indian Kitchen & Tem Toa, in a way that accurately and authentically helps consumers get to know their unique personalities (light- hearted, optimistic, outgoing, excited to share our Indian culture).
  • Experience in editing video and image content, ideally experience working Adobe, Canva, and Photoshop, bonus if you have experience leveraging AI to translate ideas into content
  • Be a strategic, visual storyteller — translating brand strategy and mission into compelling brand stories and purpose-led narratives
  • You are willing and excited to appear in content, write copy, film, edit and post. Content will extend across social media platforms including, but not limited to TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest and LinkedIn.
  • Style food and capture high-quality static images and videos of our products, recipes, and culinary creations to showcase their appeal and versatility
  • Thoroughly understand Deep Brands’ equity and develop content plans and initiatives which strengthen positioning, are memorable, and breakthrough with consumers.
  • Generate ideas and manage a content calendar for engaging posts, stories, videos, and graphics that showcase our products, recipes, and brand identity while ensuring a consistent posting cadence.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to align content with brand messaging, promotions, and support campaign objectives.
  • Film content in the Deep Indian Kitchen office featuring our collective team and environment.
  • Community Engagement: Build our brand voice across our social media channels to actively engage with our audience, respond to comments, messages, and inquiries in a timely and professional manner.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree and 2-3 years of experience in social media management / content creation, preferably in the Consumer Goods industry
  • Proficiency in social media strategy and familiarity with influencer management
  • Ability to plan, design, film and edit content across TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, and LinkedIn as well as for other potential outlets, which could include: website, PR, digital media and new social platforms
  • Advanced photography / videography skills and portfolio with visual examples of previous work, including food photography. Experience developing and editing video, GIF and static content from an iPhone.
  • Exceptional communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong project management skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Have knowledge of Instagram / TikTok for business, HootSuite (or other social listening/analytics platforms), Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, Photoshop, or other editing software
  • Experience with Google Suite and Microsoft Office
  • Location: Hybrid, reporting to main office in Union in New Jersey 3 days per week
  • Travel no more than 5-10%
