Job Description
Responsibilities
- Meets regularly, virtually or in person, with the consumer engagement team and others involved in the development of 1:1 consumer engagement strategy.
- Communicates effectively with clinicians/physicians, peers and other consumer experience and engagement team members.
- Collaborates and builds relationships within the department and with local consumer engagement leaders.
- Utilizes precision engagement tactics.
- Works closely with the consumer experience and data/technology teams to develop content and ideas to grow engagement.
- Researches and provides content for business letters, newsletters, brochures, press releases, fact sheets, direct mail, web and social media, among others.
- Supports the broader team in creating, executing and monitoring the annual consumer engagement plan, timeline and budget.
- Provides regular and thorough project status updates to the consumer engagement manager
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Mass Media, Journalism, Marketing and/or related degree.
- 3+ years previous marketing experience.
- Proficient in all Microsoft Office software with an emphasis in Excel, PowerPoint and Adobe.
- Familiarity with consumer health behaviors and interest in learning about services and capabilities across UT Health East Texas market
Preferred
- Previous healthcare experience.
