Community Outreach & Fundraising Representative – Entry Level

Responsibilities

• Support community outreach programs, fundraising events, and public awareness campaigns.
• Engage with community members and explain campaign objectives, participating organizations, and fundraising initiatives.
• Share accurate information about supported causes and available ways to contribute.
• Assist with event preparation, promotional materials, and outreach logistics.
• Help coordinate campaign activities with team members and event organizers.
• Maintain organized campaign records and follow established procedures for documenting contributions or inquiries, where applicable.
• Collect community feedback and share relevant insights with the team.
• Participate in training sessions to develop communication, outreach, and fundraising skills.
• Represent the organization and its campaigns professionally and respectfully.

Requirements

• Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
• Genuine interest in community engagement, charitable causes, or nonprofit initiatives.
• Comfortable speaking with new people and answering general questions.
• Positive attitude, reliability, and willingness to learn.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
• Professionalism and respect for people from diverse backgrounds.
• Previous experience in fundraising, customer service, sales, hospitality, volunteering, or community outreach is welcome but not required.
