Job Description

We are a growing organization that partners with nonprofit organizations and community-based programs to support public engagement, awareness initiatives, and outreach campaigns.

We are currently hiring an Entry-Level Community Outreach Assistant to join our team. This role focuses on connecting with community members, supporting outreach initiatives, and assisting with the execution of live events and engagement campaigns.

This is an excellent opportunity for individuals interested in starting a career in community outreach, nonprofit work, event coordination, marketing, or public relations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with community outreach programs and live events
  • Engage with community members in a professional and friendly manner
  • Share information about nonprofit initiatives and active campaigns
  • Support event setup, execution, and breakdown
  • Help coordinate outreach activities at community and retail locations
  • Maintain accurate records of outreach interactions and engagement
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve outreach goals
  • Represent partner organizations in a positive and professional manner
  • Participate in training sessions and team development meetings

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Positive, outgoing, and team-oriented personality
  • Ability to work in fast-paced, event-based environments
  • Customer service, retail, hospitality, or volunteer experience is a plus (not required)
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Willingness to learn and grow professionally
