Responsibilities

• Plan and execute community events, tastings, pop-ups, and product sampling activations
• Grow OAKBERRY Hawaiʻi's presence through local partnerships and sponsorships
• Identify new opportunities to connect with the community
• Build and manage an annual community events calendar
• Develop relationships with gyms, studios, wellness brands, schools, nonprofits, and local organizations
• Coordinate influencer experiences and media events
• Pitch story ideas and community initiatives to local media
• Represent OAKBERRY Hawaiʻi at community functions and networking events
• Lead local marketing efforts for every new store opening
• Coordinate grand opening events and promotional campaigns

Requirements

• 1–3 years of experience in marketing, communications, events, PR, or community engagement
• Strong knowledge of Honolulu's community, events, and business landscape
• Experience coordinating events from concept through execution
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

Preferred

• Experience with food, beverage, hospitality, wellness, or lifestyle brands
• Existing relationships with local organizations, gyms, media, or community groups
• Experience supporting retail or restaurant openings
• Vendor management or event budgeting experience
