Job Summary

Drive the agency’s community engagement and communications by coordinating materials, branding, events, and donor-facing activities across media, public relations, and outreach channels.

  • Marketing & Communications Plan: develop, lead, and annually update the plan aligned to the strategic plan.
  • Community Events & Outreach: coordinate events, represent the agency, and manage external relationships to boost visibility and support fundraising.
  • Content & Social Presence: gather stories, photography, and narrative content; maintain social channels and website to reinforce brand and community ties.

Job Description

Responsibilities
  • Assist with the development and distribution of marketing and promotional materials.
  • Support agency branding and ensure consistency in public-facing communications.
  • Attend, coordinate, and represent the agency at community outreach events, tabling opportunities, and local networking activities.
  • Assist with the planning and coordination of agency-sponsored community events and activities.
  • Support fundraising and development efforts through event assistance, donor communications, and promotional activities.
  • Assist with photography, content gathering, and storytelling for agency communications and social media.
  • Support and assist in the maintenance of the agency’s social media presence across platforms (i.e. TikTok).
  • Help maintain the agency website and community event calendars as assigned.
  • Coordinate public relations and community awareness activities: including an annual public relations plan that is regularly updated.
  • Assist staff with presentations, outreach materials, and community engagement efforts.
