Job Summary

Own community-based screening program by activating networks, staffing events with licensed volunteers, and delivering measurable health outcomes across 10 screenings.

  • Community & Partnerships: Activate faith groups, community centers, and intermediaries to promote attendance and drive engagement.
  • Volunteer & Clinical Coverage: Recruit licensed providers, secure coverage 30 days in advance, and brief volunteers on protocols.
  • Event Operations & Reporting: Pre-register attendees, host monthly pop-ups, and track patients screened, conditions, navigation, and event metrics.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Activate an existing network of community organizations, faith institutions, barbershops, salons, FQHCs, advocacy groups, and community centers as event promoters and attendance drivers
  • Leverage trusted intermediary relationships to amplify event promotion
  • Drive attendance to screening events by pre-registering community members
  • Show up in community spaces as a trusted presence
  • Recruit licensed volunteer providers (MDs, NPs, PAs; dermatology preferred) for events
  • Secure confirmed clinical coverage for every screening event at least 30 days in advance
  • Brief and coordinate volunteer providers on event protocols, screening scope, and documentation expectations
  • Maintain an active volunteer provider pipeline sufficient to staff all 10 screening events
  • Host monthly community pop-ups to promote events and provide skin health education
  • Produce 10 skin health screening events between July 1 and December 31, 2026 (minimum 7 by Sept 30)
  • Track and report data: patients screened, outcomes by condition, navigation follow-up, and event metrics

Requirements

  • Licensed volunteer providers (MDs, NPs, PAs — dermatology preferred) to recruit and manage
  • Active relationships with healthcare systems, hospitals, FQHCs, and clinical training programs to activate immediately
  • Ability to recruit and coordinate volunteer providers for events and manage a pipeline of providers
  • Experience recruiting/licensing clinical volunteers and coordinating event logistics
  • Must be able to activate existing community networks and drive event attendance

Preferred

  • Bilingual English/Spanish a strong plus
  • Community Health Worker (CHW) certification, clinical background, or social work experience preferred
  • Experience navigating health systems and care access
  • Active relationships with hospitals, academic medical centers, clinical training programs, or private practices

Benefits

  • Travel to screening events and anchor events is required and reimbursed at the current IRS mileage rate.
