The Community Engagement Lead plays a key part in strengthening EHSSO’s partnerships with university student associations, community organizations, and local collaborators. This role helps connect people to our mission, supports volunteer engagement, and ensures smooth coordination during our monthly medical‑supply organizing sessions for international shipment to South Sudan.
You will work closely with our Programming Department, student volunteers, and partners such as Crossing All Borders Ministries to build relationships, communicate opportunities, and support the logistics of our humanitarian programming.
Key ResponsibilitiesThis is a part‑time volunteer leadership role designed to be manageable for students and working professionals.
Total mandatory time: ~2 hours/month + one monthly task + one Saturday programming session.
Volunteer Status & Future CompensationOur organization is currently in a foundational growth phase, and all leadership roles will remain volunteer‑based throughout the 2026 calendar year. During this time, we are building a strong financial and research infrastructure—including a finance team and a research team focused on grant writing—to support future payroll.
Beginning in 2027, we aim to transition key roles into paid part‑time positions, with an anticipated compensation range of $40–$55 per hour, depending on responsibilities, performance, and work ethic.
