Responsibilities

• Connect Banyule Leisure with community through networking and connecting with community organisations.
• Focusing on connecting identified disadvantaged community cohorts with Banyule Leisure Facilities.
• Coordinate and facilitate the Banyule Leisure Equity Membership Program
• Coordinate and champion social media channels for Banyule Leisure. Including promotion of facility, “good news stories”, and supporting program promotion and awareness.
• Work with program coordinators and colleagues to maximise effectiveness of major campaigns
• Primary work location Ivanhoe Aquatic, and Olympic Leisure Centre.

Requirements

• An ability to create organic content and structured marketing campaign content.
• A commitment to Banyule Leisure’s values and a keen interest in promoting health and wellness outcomes for our customers and the wider community.
• Strong customer service focus and ability to multitask in a busy and dynamic environment, without compromising service to customers.
• At least 2 years’ experience in similar or related roles.
• Prior experience working within the community sector or aquatics and recreation industry in a communications role will be highly considered.
• Level 2 First Aid (Apply First Aid).
• Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR).
• Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check (NCCHC).
• Working with children check.
