Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Seller Events and High Velocity Events: Own end to end communications strategy for Amazon's highest stakes seller moments: Prime Day, Prime Big Deal Days, Black Friday/Cyber Monday, Holiday, and Seller Events (New Seller Summit, Seller Growth Summit, Amazon Accelerate)
  • Drive dynamic, personalized communication plans that adapt based on each seller's readiness and context
  • Lead multi channel event playbooks and cross functional coordination with partner teams
  • Own Accelerate scripting and event content strategy
  • Strategic Communications Management: Own the writing, execution, and amplification of all strategic communications across internal seller facing and external audiences
  • Lead mass, high impact communications including policy launches, fee announcements, enforcement messaging, and major product launches, working upstream with product and policy teams from the earliest stages of development
  • Own Amazon's seller related external communications strategy in partnership with PR and SER, including proactive and reactive media inquiries and executive thought leadership
  • Manage the monthly external seller communications mechanism providing L10 level visibility into the upcoming calendar of key announcements across the seller business
  • Lead an editorial team managing Tier 1 and Tier 2 communications at scale
  • Product Marketing, GTM, and Creative Content: Own the full lifecycle of how Amazon brings seller facing products and programs to market, from defining what we communicate, to whom, when, and through which channels

Requirements

  • 12+ years experience in product management, communications, content strategy, or a related field
  • 8+ years of people management experience, including managing managers
  • Experience setting multi-year strategy and driving organizational transformation at scale
  • Track record of owning and delivering against executive-level goals (VP/SVP visibility)
  • Experience leading cross-functional initiatives spanning 10+ partner organizations
  • Demonstrated ability to make high-stakes judgment calls on sensitive communications with direct reputational, financial, and trust consequences
  • Experience building and scaling governance models, platform migrations, or operating model transformations
  • Bachelor's degree

Preferred

  • Experience in seller/merchant ecosystems, marketplace platforms, or two-sided marketplaces
  • Background in both strategic communications and product management
  • Experience with AI-powered content personalization, communications automation, or channel orchestration at scale
  • Track record of driving cultural shifts across large, distributed organizations
  • Experience managing organizations of 50+ across multiple functions (communications, product, marketing, program management)
  • MBA or advanced degree
