Peninsula Wireless Services, a dynamic sales and development firm in Burlingame, is hiring Community Engagement Associates to bring affordable wireless solutions directly to our clients. The Community Engagement Associate will work onsite at pop-ups, leveraging their ability to connect to drive sales conversations that educate our clients on affordable mobile solutions.

As a Community Engagement Associate, you’ll undergo sales training focused on pop-up events and client engagement with affordable mobile solutions. The Community Engagement Associate will also learn how to spark interest and build trust while helping our clients discover affordable smartphones and data plans. Every Community Engagement Associate plays an important role in supporting sales growth while creating positive experiences for community members.

Responsibilities of the Community Engagement Associate

• Engage with clients in person at events and pop-up locations to increase awareness of affordable mobile solutions and connectivity opportunities.
• Support sales initiatives by engaging customers to highlight the accessibility and value of available wireless programs.
• Build meaningful community engagement by helping our clients understand mobile service options that support their everyday needs.
• Foster positive customer interactions that encourage engagement, strengthen brand visibility, and generate sales opportunities.
• Participate in ongoing Community Engagement Associate training designed to strengthen communication and sales skills.
• Assist with outreach and sales activities that maximize event engagement and create memorable customer experiences.
• Contribute to sales and engagement goals by connecting with our clients and supporting enrollment conversations when appropriate.
• Collaborate with fellow Community Engagement Associate team members to support outreach efforts and overall sales objectives.

Qualifications of the Community Engagement Associate

• A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Strong interest in sales, customer engagement, or customer service is a plus.
• Friendly, professional presence that makes every interaction approachable.
• Skilled communicator who can tailor messaging to different event clients.
• Quick to adapt when event conditions shift, maintaining composure and focus.
• Motivated to develop professional sales skills and grow as a Community Engagement Associate.
• Positive attitude and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, sales-focused environment.

Pay: $1,100.00 - $1,400.00 per week
