Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Supports unit-wide communications initiatives by gathering information, preparing materials, and coordinating distribution using university approved platforms and tools.
  • Drafts, edits, and produces content for channels that may include web, email, social media, video, newsletters, and print publications.
  • Tracks and reports on engagement metrics to evaluate communications effectiveness.
  • Provides logistical and administrative support for communication projects and initiatives.
  • Collaborates with colleagues and stakeholders to implement communications projects and initiatives.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor\'s degree in Communications, English, Journalism, Marketing, Public Relations, or a related field. Work experience may NOT substitute for the education requirement.
  • Knowledge and understanding of advanced video equipment, lighting techniques and audio techniques
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
