Job Summary

Own cross-channel communications for a nonprofit, aligning social, email, and event assets to deliver consistent, quality messaging and measurable engagement with a mission-driven audience.

  • Social, email, and calendar ownership: own the cadence and execution to drive consistent engagement across platforms.
  • Asset and content oversight: coordinate photos/videos and design graphics, signage, and collateral for events and campaigns.
  • Performance reporting: track social, email, and web metrics and turn results into improvements for future campaigns.

  • Manage SONH’s social media platforms and email marketing, ensuring consistent and engaging communication
  • \n
  • Execute weekly newsletters and campaign-based emails
  • \n
  • Maintain and manage the communications calendar
  • \n
  • Support communications for events, fundraising campaigns, and volunteer recruitment efforts
  • \n
  • Create and design graphics and collateral, including social media graphics
  • \n
  • Create and design event signage and materials
  • \n
  • Create and design flyers, one-pagers, and promotional assets
  • \n
  • Adapt and format content across platforms to ensure consistency and quality
  • \n
  • Coordinate and manage photo and video assets for use across communications
  • \n
  • Track performance of communications (social, email, web traffic) and report on results
  • \n
\nRequirements\n
    \n
  • 2–4 years of experience in marketing, communications, graphic design, or a related field
  • \n
  • Experience with social media management and email marketing platforms
  • \n
  • Experience with design tools (Canva or similar)
  • \n
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • \n
  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities
  • \n

  • Experience with nonprofit or mission-driven organizations is a plus
