Responsibilities

• Partner with leaders and cross-functional enterprise teams to shape messaging and drive alignment that advance the Drivetrain organization's business objectives.
• Lead and execute strategic communications initiatives that support the Integrated Drivetrain Energy Solutions (IDES) division and enterprise wise priorities.
• Collaborate with the broader segment communications team to ensure consistency and impact across channels and audiences.
• Act as a trusted advisor to leaders by providing strategic communications support, ensuring clarity, alignment and momentum across the East Peoria (Building KK) facility.
• Develop, own and execute comprehensive communications plans including messaging and materials that inform, inspire and align employees to business strategy and customer objectives
• Create clear, compelling content for employee communication channels including written communications, presentations, recognition stories, project updates and more as needed.
• Act as a Brand Advocate and uphold brand standards by maintaining a consistent tone and style across all content, adhering to brand guidelines and voice

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience desired.
• Effectiveness Measurement: Knowledge of effective measurement techniques and ability to measure the quality and quantity of work effort for the purpose of improvement.

• Copywriting and Editing: Knowledge of copywriting and editing; ability to write, review and edit texts and documents to promote marketing.
• Internal Communications: Knowledge of techniques and media for internal communications; ability to produce and distribute news, newsletters and other communications materials targeted at the employees.
• Multimedia Technologies: Knowledge of multimedia publishing technologies and procedures; ability to use installed audio, visual and animation software tools to produce multimedia publications.
