Responsibilities

• Develop, curate and manage engaging content across all social media platforms. Monitor, analyze and report on social media performance and trends to optimize outreach and engagement.
• Write, design and distribute a monthly internal email newsletter to keep stakeholders informed about news, events and updates related to Apalachee Center.
• Regularly update and maintain website content to ensure accuracy and relevance. Collaborate with other departments to ensure that all online information is current and aligns with organizational goals.
• Create and update marketing materials, brochures, flyers and other collateral as needed to support Apalachee Center's programs and initiatives.
• Develop and implement community engagement strategies to build and sustain relationships with local organizations, media outlets and stakeholders. Represent Apalachee Center at community events and outreach activities.
• Produce high-quality written and visual content that effectively communicates the organization’s mission, services and impact.
• Assist in developing and executing communication strategies that align with the organization’s goals and enhance its public presence.
• Work closely with other team members and departments to ensure cohesive messaging and to support various communication needs across the organization.
• Performs miscellaneous duties not expressly described herein.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in journalism, communications, public relations, english, marketing or a related field.
• Minimum of two years of professional experience in communications, public relations or a related role.
• Experience in the mental health or healthcare sector preferred.
• Familiarity with graphic design tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Canva) and photography preferred.
• Current valid driver’s license.
• Maintain Apalachee Designated Auto Driver status.
