- Coordinate with staff and vendors on communications vehicles and website updates.
Job Description
Responsibilities
- Write and proof press releases, newsletter articles, and marketing messages.
- Manage production and distribution of AHRI’s weekly and monthly newsletters.
- Manage the communications calendar and send messages on schedule.
- Manage e-newsletter subscriptions.
- Coordinate with AHRI staff and vendors on a variety of communications vehicles, including Statistical Releases, Industry Sector Newsletters, and Regulatory Compliance Notices.
- Monitor relevant portions of the company website to ensure proper functionality, make minor updates, and suggest improved features and content.
Requirements
- One to two years’ related experience in a communications position.
- Experience with content creation: producing press releases, newsletters, blog posts, and multimedia content.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field from a nationally accredited college/university.
- Proficient in MS Office, with expert level use of Word.
- Familiar with content management system.
