Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Orchestrate cross‑functional comms plans, timelines, and approvals to keep initiatives on track.
  • Own content operations: calendars, assets, and consistency across channels and programs.
  • Coordinate stakeholders and vendors to deliver high‑quality materials on schedule.
  • Uphold governance: route reviews, ensure compliance, and maintain clear documentation.
  • Track OKRs and report progress; surface risks and drive mitigation.
  • Lead launch readiness and cadence execution across pre, during, and post‑launch phases.
  • Support executive and internal communications with clear briefs and updates.
  • Improve tools, templates, and SOPs to streamline workflows and scale impact.
  • Enable partners and audiences with concise, accessible materials and guidance.
  • Manage and support various internal and external events including company‑wide all hands, media events, and speaking opportunities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, English, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in communications, project coordination, program management, operations, or a related role.
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal), including drafting briefs, status updates, and meeting notes for internal audiences; Strong writing and editing skills, with the ability to translate complex topics into clear, audience-appropriate messaging.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple workstreams at once, prioritize effectively, and deliver under tight timelines.
  • High attention to detail and strong organizational skills, including maintaining calendars, documentation, and more.
  • Experience working cross-functionally with stakeholders (e.g., product, legal, security, policy, creative, and/or agency partners) to gather inputs and drive alignment.
  • Familiarity with the U.S. media landscape, including Tier 1 outlets and key journalists/reporters, and an understanding of how earned media works.

Preferred

  • Experience supporting integrated communications planning (e.g., launch comms, executive comms, internal communications, campaigns, or events) in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Familiarity with building/using templates, SOPs, and approval workflows.
  • Interest and exposure to technology topics such as data privacy, AI, cybersecurity, trust and safety, software/product launches, or public policy, and interest in learning these areas quickly.
  • Experience tracking goals and performance, creating simple reporting dashboards, and surfacing risks, dependencies, and mitigation plans.
  • Experience coordinating vendors/agencies and managing production timelines for high‑quality deliverables.
  • Event coordination experience (internal all‑hands, executive engagements, media events, panels/speaking opportunities), including run‑of‑show planning and day‑of logistics.
  • Familiarity with editorial standards and stakeholder review processes requiring accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance.
