Job Description

Hogan Lovells Cadwalader’s Washington, D.C. office seeks an outstanding Communications, Internet, and Media mid-to senior level associate with communications regulatory experience focused on terrestrial wireless, satellite and space communications. The firm will look favorably on such candidates who also have experience with or a willingness to work on tech policy issues. Previous law firm, FCC or in-house legal counsel experience is preferred. 
Our practice supports clients in all major communications industry sectors, including wireless, broadband, media, satellite, tech and Internet and digital platform service delivery. Duties include legal research, writing, and oral advocacy before the FCC, NTIA, NOAA, the FTC, Congress, and other federal and state government agencies. The associate will also have a high degree of responsibility for managing projects, supervising more junior associates, supporting more senior attorneys and counseling clients on legal, regulatory, policy and commercial matters.

The expected base salary range for this role is $310,000 per year. This range reflects a good-faith estimate of pay at the time of posting; the actual compensation offered may vary depending on factors such as the candidate’s qualifications. This position is eligible for additional forms of compensation, which may include annual performance bonuses and discretionary bonuses. Employees in this role are also eligible for benefits offered by the firm, subject to applicable plan terms and conditions, which currently include medical, dental, and vision insurance; a 401(k) retirement plan; and paid time off.
