Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Create content for external communications such as e-newsletters, blogs and more
  • Assist in securing, facilitating and tracking media opportunities
  • Coordinate with the social media team to brainstorm content and draft copy
  • Support the team in executing communication initiatives including live events and brand marketing campaigns
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure marketing efforts are aligned with business goals
  • Conduct research and report metrics for internal and external initiatives
  • Fulfill ad-hoc communications assignments and provide regular status updates to management

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Journalism, or a related field
  • Successfully completed at least two semesters of coursework or be an upcoming Junior or Senior with a GPA of 3.0 or above
  • Ability to work 40 hours per week (full-time)
  • Must be 18 years in age or older.
  • Must pass pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check.
  • Strict adherence to safety requirements and procedures as outlined in the Employee Handbook.
  • Willingness to work independently and within in a team environment and assist the team with other duties as required.
  • Able to read and/or follow written and verbal instructions and implement the same.
  • Demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills with ability to actively listen
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and social media platforms
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Creative thinking and attention to detail is key

Preferred

  • Canva & Adobe Photoshop experience
  • Prior internship in communications or related field
