From the iconic neighborhoods to vibrant businesses, Covington offers a unique environment for learning, growth, and impact.     Role Overview The Communications Department is looking for a Communications Intern to support the development of content for social media, press releases, and public outreach initiatives. This position is ideal for students passionate about public relations, media relations, and government communications.   Key Responsibilities: Write and edit content for city social media platforms and press releases Assist with public outreach materials, including newsletters and digital content Help monitor media coverage and assist in managing the city’s online presence   Qualifications & Experience: Currently pursuing a degree in Communications, Journalism, or a related field Strong writing and editing skills, with an eye for detail Familiarity with social media platforms and digital communication tools     How to Apply: Interested candidates should submit a resume and cover letter by April 15th, 2026.
