Job Summary

Own the nonprofit communications and donor relations program, leading event logistics, annual communications, CRM data integrity, donor appeals, and reporting while coordinating with leadership.

  • Oversee event planning and logistics for two annual events
  • Manage CRM data entry and reporting (Raiser’s Edge/Bloomerang)
  • Support executive and board scheduling and communication workflows

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Manages event registration and event planning logistics (2 events per year)
  • Implements annual communications plan
  • Creates and sends regular email and social media communications for the organization
  • Project manager for key organizational communication pieces such as the Annual Report
  • Updates content of the website with assistance from vendor as needed
  • Ensures messaging and communication activities are in alignment with IndyGo
  • Manages tracking and fulfillment of donor benefits
  • Assists in creation of donor appeals, emails and letters
  • Responsible for the data integrity of the CRM (currently Raiser’s Edge but transitioning to Bloomerang)
  • Extracts mailing lists, donor lists and reports from the CRM

Requirements

  • Experience with Raiser’s Edge or Bloomerang CRM is strongly preferred.
  • At least 3 years of experience working in a non-profit organization and/or office environment.
  • A high school diploma or any combination of education and experience that would provide an equivalent background.
