Job Summary

Coordinate communications and marketing for the Osher Center across events, content, and digital channels.

  • Own coordination of Grand Rounds and related events from planning through post-event follow-up.
  • Must-have: 2–3 years of marketing, events, or administrative support experience in healthcare or academia.
  • Collaborate across Mass General Brigham PR, internal teams, and Osher Centers to amplify visibility and cross-promote initiatives.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and execute monthly Grand Rounds including communications, pre-and post-event administration, marketing and event management.
  • Assist with event planning, marketing and execution of seminars, endowed lectures, conferences and community events offered by the Osher Center.
  • Maintain and optimize the OsherCenter.org website by creating regular blog posts, and ensuring the website is both functioning and current; suggest improvements to the Senior Program Manager and work with the web hosting company to implement updates.
  • Coordinate the Osher website updates with the Osher Clinical Center (different from the OsherCenter.org website, above), including monitoring and updating the website on a regular basis.
  • Source and suggest newsworthy items, create monthly newsletter content, and update newsletter design as necessary.
  • Maintain and help build the Osher Center mailing list to support targeted email marketing campaigns and communications.
  • Work with other departments and institutions to facilitate cross-promotional marketing
  • Create, schedule and manage weekly social media postings across Osher Center social media platforms (e.g. Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube and LinkedIn)
  • Support the development and delivery of new engagement platforms for Osher Center newsletter readers, website visitors and collaborative networks e.g. podcast series.
  • Support the pre-and post production of the new Osher Podcast series

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree Related Field of Study required
  • Yes (experience in lieu of a degree allowed)
  • Relevant experience in marketing, event management, and administrative support roles, preferably in a healthcare or academic environment 2-3 years required
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Familiarity with online marketing, social media, and website content management.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Ability to work well with a wide range of people.
