Communications & Engagement Manager

Responsibilities

• Developing and delivering communications plans that support business priorities and customer engagement.
• Leading multi-channel communication campaigns from planning through to delivery and evaluation.
• Using data, insight and testing to improve engagement and communications performance.
• Defining, tracking and reporting on communication KPIs and outcomes.
• Working collaboratively with internal stakeholders to align communications with wider business activity.
• Ensuring communications are clear, accessible, compliant and tailored to audience needs.
• Applying behavioral thinking and engagement techniques to encourage positive customer actions.
• Leading, coaching and developing a team, creating a culture of accountability, collaboration and continuous improvement.
• Ensuring communication meets regulatory requirements and industry best practice.

Requirements

• Significant experience planning and delivering multi-channel communications or marketing campaigns.
• Strong experience and knowledge of customer lifecycle communications, segmentation and engagement strategies.
• Ability to translate business objectives into clear communications strategies and plans.
• Experience measuring campaign performance and using insight to drive improvements.
• Strong stakeholder management and collaboration skills, with experience of managing a team.
• Experience leading, coaching and developing people.
• Excellent written communication skills, with the ability to make complex topics easy to understand.
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Experience within pensions, financial services or another regulated environment is desirable.
• Understanding regulatory communications, including Consumer Duty, is desirable.
