Job Summary

Own and optimize the divisional social media and content ecosystem to tell student success stories, align with priorities, and improve discoverability across websites and emails.

  • Content and channel ownership: plan, create, schedule, and publish across social channels with calendars aligned to divisional priorities.
  • Collaboration and messaging: coordinate with departmental communicators, update websites and intranet, and ensure consistent campaigns.
  • Measurement and optimization: monitor engagement, report on performance, apply SEO/AEO best practices, and tailor audience-focused communications.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Plan, create, schedule, and publish content across the Division of Student Success social media channels.
  • Develop social media content calendars that support divisional priorities, initiatives, and events.
  • Collaborate with departmental communicators and social media contacts across the division to coordinate messaging and campaigns.
  • Write engaging copy and source or create supporting visual assets.
  • Monitor social media channels for engagement opportunities and emerging trends.
  • Track and report on social media performance metrics and campaign effectiveness.
  • Promote student success stories, programs, services, and events through strategic social media storytelling.
  • Update and maintain divisional websites and intranet pages with timely and accurate information.
  • Create, edit, and optimize web content to improve user experience and content discoverability.
  • Apply search engine optimization (SEO) and answer engine optimization (AEO) best practices to digital content.
