Communications Coordinator

Responsibilities

• Assisting in the implementation of agency communications plan.
• Agency-wide branding activities.
• Assisting with the management of agency web site and electronic newsletter.
• Creation of documents and other resources utilized for general outreach (e.g.,brochures, flyers, exhibit displays, etc.).
• Assisting with the enhancement of agency social media activities including the drafting and uploading content as appropriate, and evaluating reach andengagement.
• Represent the agency at resource and outreach events and activities.
• Other activities as assigned.

Requirements

• 1-3 years of relevant experience or education in communications, marketing or related field.
• Self-starter.
• General knowledge of and understanding of branding principles.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to organize activities and prioritize assignments.
• Ability to use sound judgment.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience with general office operation helpful.
• Desire and ability to work collaboratively with others.
• Ability to work independently.
