Communications Coordinator

Responsibilities

• Content Creation Creates content for Farm Credit East social media networks Assists in creation of email campaigns to reach targeted customers and prospects Assists in maintenance of association brand websites, including coordination of web inquiries, as needed Assists in the development of Today’s Harvest blog content Marketing Communications Develops consistent PowerPoint presentations for internal and external meetings Assists with the development and ordering of marketing content including brochures, folders, ads and tradeshow displays Assists in the coordination and promotion of Farm Credit East participation at internal and external events Organizes marketing materials on intranet site ensuring appropriate resources are available for staff Coordinates ad materials in digital and print media for local marketplace and sponsorship requests Serves in a backup capacity for members of the Marketing Communications team, as appropriate Reporting Maintains an updated list of farm and non-farm media contacts Monitors Farm Credit East media coverage Develops quarterly report on social media activity Develops a quarterly report of Knowledge Exchange/Marketing Communications activity to be provided to the Farm Credit East Board’s Governance/Stewardship Committee

Requirements

• This position requires a Bachelor's degree in communication, marketing, business administration, related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience to perform the essential functions of the job
• Knowledge of communications, website content development, marketing principles and practices; preparing marketing materials, including oral and written communication to effectively exchange information with peers, supervisor and customers; planning and coordinating projects.
